爱沙尼亚塔尔图大学(Tartu Univ.)理工学院聚合物材料科学领域著名教授,研究领域包括电活性聚合物、聚合物电解质与新能源、高分子材料计算模拟、特种机器人与软体机器人、太空环境与应用技术等。目前Alvo Aablo教授是塔尔图大学智能材料与系统实验室(Intelligent Materials and Systems Laboratory, www.ims.ut.ee)负责人,领导一个由副教授、研究员等14位核心成员组成的多学科研究团队,主要来自功能聚合物、电子材料、计算机和机器人等不同学科。
Prof. Alvo Aabloo is from Institute of Technology, Tartu University in Estonia. He is a famous polymer material professor and has wide research interests including Electro-active polymer, Polyelectrolyte and new energy, Simulation on polymer material, Special robots and soft robots, Space application technology etc. Now Prof. Alvo Aabloo is the group leader of Intelligent Materials and Systems Laboratory (IMS lab,www.ims.ut.ee) at Tartu University. He is leading a multi-discipline group with about 14 core members including polymer, electronic material, computer and robot scientists.
在电活性聚合物领域,IMS实验室是欧洲最早研究离子型电活性聚合物(ionic Electro-active Polymer, iEAP)材料的机构之一,涉及多种iEAP材料,包括IPMC、多种Conducting Polymer Actuator(聚吡咯和PEDOT等)、Bucky Gel驱动器材料等,代表性材料是Carbon-polymer composite(其它有:美国Kwang J. Kim等研发的IPMC、日本产业综合技术研究所的Bucky Gel驱动器、巴黎F. Vidal教授的Conducting IPN都是典型的iEAP材料)。IMS实验室是欧盟人工肌肉研究组织European Scientific Network for Artificial Muscles (ESNAM,2010-2014)和多功能纳米碳复合材料组织(Multi-Functional Nano-Carbon Composite Materials Network,2016-2019)的核心成员,是欧洲电活性聚合物学会(EuroEAP, http://www.euroeap.eu)重要组成机构,Alvo Aabloo教授本人也是上述相关学术委员会的核心会员,2015年获得爱沙尼亚科学院工程科学奖。
In the field of Electro-active polymer, IMS lab is one of the earliest leading organizations working on ionic EAP in Europe. The researches refer to several typical ionic EAPs, including IPMC, some conducting polymer actuators (PPy and PEDOT), Bucky Gel actuator etc. The representative ionic EAP is Carbon-polymer composite in IMS lab (other typical ionic EAPs are IPMC at Kwang J. Kim’s lab in US, Bucky Gel actuator at AIST in Japan, Conducting IPN at F. Vidal’s lab in France etc.). IMS lab is a core member of European Scientific Network for Artificial Muscles (ESNAM, 2010-2014), Multi-Functional Nano-Carbon Composite Materials Network (2016-2019), and a key member organization of European Electro-active polymer society (EuroEAP,http://www.euroeap.eu). Prof. Alvo Aabloo is also a core scientist in those related scientific committee. He received Award of Estonian Academy of Science in engineering sciences in 2015.
报告主要介绍IMS实验室关于离子型聚合物材料在柔性传感器和驱动器方向的研究。离子导电聚合物材料是一类特殊高分子材料,在高分子形成的网络内部存在一定纳米孔隙,含有一定的可移动离子和溶剂分子,在外界电场和力学载荷作用下,内部离子运动,能够产生变形或者电响应,可以用于柔性驱动器和传感器,模拟生物的驱动和感知功能与特性,可用于柔性电子、智能织物、软体机器人等诸多领域。报告介绍离子型聚合物材料的功能特性、应用研究及其未来发展。【高校重点外专项目(交大专字ZM2018JX150号)智能电活性聚合物在软体机器人中应用研究邀请。】
This presentation mainly introduces soft polymer actuator and sensor based on ionic polymer materials in IMS lab. Ionic conducting polymer material is quite special with nano porous network, which contains movable ions and solvent. Under external electrical field or mechanical load, redistribution of ions can generate large deformation or electrical response to imitate natural actuation or sensation. These functions have great application potential in flexible electronics, smart textile, soft robots etc. The lecture will present the properties, application and future development of the smart ionic polymer materials.
